There are three baptisms that belong to every Christian,
but most Christians know of only two. The one that is hardly known
among Christians is the most important, always takes place first
in the life of the believer, and always takes place at the
very moment the sinner believes in Christ Jesus and is saved. In this unknown
baptism, the believer in Christ shares in the very life of Christ,
is pardoned and saved, is born again, and becomes a saint and a child of God.
This unknown baptism is not water baptism.
And it is not the baptism with the Holy Ghost.
It is the baptism into the quickening and lifegiving body of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Three Baptisms has ten chapters:
- Three Baptisms
- Water Baptism: Perverting the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Water Baptism: Obeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Baptism Into Christ: Baptized Into His Life And Fulness
- Baptism Into Christ: Our Complete Union and Oneness with Christ
- Baptism Into Christ: The Precious Promises of the New Covenant in Christ
- The Baptism with the Holy Ghost: The Father's Promise to Believers
- The Baptism with the Holy Ghost: The Work of the Holy Ghost in Salvation and the Work of the Holy Ghost in the Holy Ghost Baptism
- The Baptism with the Holy Ghost: The Works of the Holy Ghost
- The Baptism with the Holy Ghost: Speaking With Other Tongues
The first chapter shows from the Scriptures that there are indeed three Christian
baptisms. It tells us there is a different baptizer in each of the three different
baptisms and tells who is the baptizer in each baptism. Finally, it assures
the reader that all three of these baptisms belong to every Christian today!
The rest of the chapters cover the three baptisms in detail--giving
the full teaching from the Bible on each one.
If you want to know what the Bible says about water baptism, the baptism with
the Holy Ghost, and the baptism into Jesus Christ--you will want to read this
book. |
